Millreed Lodge is set in a scenic area in West Yorkshire, 1.3 miles from Todmorden town centre. The home overlooks the Rochdale canal and the river (Walsden Water). The service aims to deliver high standards of care tailored to individual's person centred care plan. The home has a very warm, inviting, friendly atmosphere. The home prides itself on its continuous 5 star food safety rating. The home provides a daily choice of fresh home cooked meals and desserts, mid afternoon and midmorning snacks, choice of drinks throughout the day. All Meals are catered for individuals preferences and dietary needs .
All visitors are welcome throughout the day and we welcome family pets into the building during visits including our therapy dog. The home has protected mealtimes where we request that visitors refrain from visiting during these times to protect the residents dignity. The homes meal times are :
Breakfast 08:00am- 10:00am
Lunch 12:15pm-13:30pm
Tea 16:15pm- 17:30pm
Wellbeing external professionals are regular visitors to the home
Hairdresser visits weekly
Chiropodist visits 8 weekly
Opticians 6 monthly/annually dependant on need
