Overview
Saxon Lodge is a specially designed home supporting nine young adults with autism and complex needs, including behaviours that may challenge. The focus is on fostering independence and providing an active, fulfilling lifestyle. The people we support are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities, as well as in the day-to-day running of the home.
Families and friends are involved and kept informed about any changes, ensuring open communication. The service uses Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) to support individuals in expressing their opinions and being at the centre of decision-making.
The home is fully wheelchair accessible and equipped with specialist features such as adjustable work surfaces, accessible baths, and showers. The upstairs flats offer private, independent living spaces with en-suite facilities, kitchens, and living areas. Additional amenities include a sensory room and a well-maintained garden.
Our team are highly trained, skilled, and committed to meeting each individual's needs while continually improving their expertise. They take pride in the welcoming, supportive atmosphere of the home, often receiving praise from visitors and professionals for their approach and the positive environment.
