About Us
Durban House Nursing Home in Romsey provides 24-hour nursing and dementia care for up to 37 people in a warm, home-from-home setting. We specialise in person-centred support, including care for individuals with complex needs and brain injuries. Our dedicated nursing, care, and ancillary teams work alongside a 24-hour on-call management team to ensure consistent, compassionate care.
We believe in an open-door approach—there are no set visiting times, and we warmly welcome relatives and friends to help us continue supporting the family unit as they would at home. Our two wellbeing coordinators offer a wide range of personalised activities seven days a week, including one-to-one support for those who need or prefer it. Weekly highlights include a resident gardening club every Wednesday, monthly coffee mornings for families, and day trips in our shared minibus.
