Two Acres Care Home

Two Acres Care Home is a residential and nursing home in the Taverham area of Norwich, which can accommodate 115 residents. Care can be provided for those with dementia. Two Acres Care Home also offers the following short stay services; respite care, intermediate care and discharge to assess.

Our serene site is situated in a peaceful and scenic area of Norwich. Each of our purpose-built buildings has its own character and style, all designed to be easily accessible for all residents. Rooms are spacious, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities. All single rooms have en-suite bathrooms too.

There are several communal areas throughout the home for residents to socialise and relax in. These include lounges, dining rooms, libraries, conservatories, and a hair salon. In addition, everyone can enjoy the outdoors in our well-maintained and wheelchair-friendly gardens, decorated with flower beds, seating areas, bird feeders and a pond.

At Two Acres, we provide a varied and healthy menu that caters to different tastes and requirements. We want to make sure that each resident eats well and enjoys every meal.

Our qualified and experienced cooks create three main meals a day, all made with fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Residents can choose from a range of options, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and diabetic-friendly dishes.

We encourage everyone to eat together in our bright and spacious dining rooms. Anyone can eat in their own room if they prefer or have special requirements.

We also provide a range of drinks, snacks and finger food throughout the day.

At Two Acres Care Home, our activities coordinator schedules regular events to foster wellness and companionship. From games to gardening, activities are tailored to suit each resident’s interests and abilities.

We also regularly arrange outings to local attractions such as garden centres, parks, community centres, and coffee shops. Our varied range of activities improve physical, mental, and emotional well-being so residents can enjoy life to the fullest.
