Overview
Our specialist care team will deliver personalised, high quality care and support 24 hours a day.
The service supports up to 90 adults, care will be provided across six households, each with 15 en suite bedrooms and communal spaces, the households are individually decorated to aid orientation and wayfinding and have a domestic style layout with an open plan kitchen where customers are encouraged to engage in meal preparation and cooking. Each of the households has access to landscaped gardens or a rooftop terrace so people can easily access outdoor space.
Customers can engage in group activities or pursue their own interests in the smaller communal areas or their own private rooms.
In addition to our homely households there is a communal space and meeting room for use by customers, staff, and the wider community.
Bowbrook provides a range of specialist dementia care and support services to people with a range of needs, including:
Older adults (over 55 years)
People with dementia and associated mental health conditions
Older adults with physical disabilities
People with hearing or eyesight difficulties (or both)
Services are delivered flexibly to meet people’s needs as they change. We aim to provide a tailored package of care for each customer, which contributes to their overall personal healthcare and wellbeing needs and preferences. We work with other services and professionals to help to maximise each customer’s independence and encourage them to participate as much as possible in their community.
Each household comprises

All areas are fitted with an alarm system ensuring 24 hour access to staff should individuals require assistance. We also use a range of technology to enhance the care we deliver and support individuals to be more independent.
Bowbrook has an activities coordinator who plans and coordinates activities and volunteers within the centre, along with facilitating wider community engagement.
Bowbrook’s community hub is open to both customers and the wider community.
