About Us
Belmont Villa Care Home is family run care home, for people with nursing needs, based in the vibrant market town of Frome. It was established in 1984 and is now owned and managed by the second generation of the founding family. The homes focus has always been on providing high quality person-centred care in a welcoming, homely environment. Belmont Villa is a beautiful Victorian building with period features and a ground-floor extension designed specifically for easy access and wheelchairs.
Belmont Villa can accommodate 31 residents and in addition to long term care, it also offers respite care. It has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. The ethos of Belmont Villa is to be a home from home, where everyone feels included and like part of the family.
You can enjoy Belmont Villa Care Home's well-kept garden or spend time in one of the lounges, dining room, or hobby room. This home places a focus on resident wellbeing and offers a variety of activities, social events and a hair salon. There is a lift, ground floor rooms and wheelchair access in addition to wifi throughout the home.
Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms to ensure that they feel completely at home, such as hanging pictures, displaying ornaments or bringing small pieces of their own furniture.
Belmont Villa is fortunate to be opposite the picturesque Victoria Park with its bowling green, traditional thatched bandstand and seasonal cafe. It is located a short walk from the vibrant shopping street, Catherine Hill, as well as having good travel links with a bus station and a train station close to the home. A supermarket, bank, cinema and pub can also be found in the area.
