About Us

Weavers Lodge is nestled on the edge of rolling countryside, conveniently situated in a
quiet, no-through road yet only a minute walk to the bustling Castle Cary High Street with all
its local amenities.
Weavers Lodge dates back to the 18th Century and sits in the heart of Castle Cary, Somerset.
As a service, we wish to support individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, that may also include a dual mental health
diagnosis. The service will enable their successful transition through person centred and needs led assessment, to understand the individuals we support, to best meet their needs.

Weavers Lodge is a specialist service based in Somerset, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. The home delivers 8 large beautiful bedrooms with a garden or countryside view, all with ensuite facilities and with access to a range of communal spaces.
The interior designers have mindfully designed the furniture and fixtures for challenging environments, which includes a variety of safe, robust, and anti-ligature features. This specialist autism design is exactly fit for purpose in transforming challenging environments into a homely feel.
Alongside 6 large bedrooms, Weavers Lodge has two self-contained studios, designed for those individuals who may find living in a group setting more of a challenge.
Both studios have a securable kitchenette, so we can develop the life skills an individual will need to transition successfully, with lovely garden views and well-equipped specialist furniture.
