Overview
The Beeches Residential Home is a home in the area of Canterbury, which can accommodate 14 residents with learning disabilities. Most of our bedrooms and all communal areas are on the ground floor. We are located on the same road as Kent & Canterbury Hospital and benefit from a frequent bus service to the city centre, with its many shops, cafes and restaurants.
At the Beeches we try to maintain a light hearted, fun, family feel. It is important to us that our service users are happy and receive good quality, person centred care with their needs and wishes at the heart of all the care they receive. We encourage multiple visits before someone comes to stay with us permanently to ensure they feel comfortable and happy with the service they will receive, and to get to know staff and their prospective housemates.
We also encourage people to bring their own belongings, including their own furniture should they wish (though furniture will be otherwise provided) and personalise their room so that it is truly theirs and an environment they fell happy is home.
