Greenlane House

Greenlane House Care Home is registered with the Care Quality Commission to care for 42 residents. We provide long-term residential care for 42 residents. We are also able to provide short-term respite care.

Greenlane House Care Home is ideally situated a few minutes walk from the small market town of Brampton. Brampton is approximately 9 miles east of Carlisle and has a lovely range of shops, cafes and other amenities. It is easily accessible from other areas via excellent transport links including train and bus. Greenlane Care Home is to be found in an acre of beautiful and accessible grounds. The large and secure garden to the rear of the property includes a patio with seating and also a covered seating area. From these seats, there is an ideal viewpoint of the large manicured garden, with the newly built fountain, lawn area and vegetable plot. In the Summer months, vegetables and fruit are grown here and used in our food preparation. The garden is also used in the Winter months and in December the trees are lit with Christmas fairy lights.

In 2026, we completed our fabulous new extension at Greenlane House, bringing state-of-the-art innovation to the home without compromising its care, comfort, or homely feel.

The extension features 14 luxury en-suite bedrooms, perfectly complementing the existing rooms in the historic part of the home. Designed with both community and privacy in mind, it offers residents the opportunity to enjoy social connection while still having their own personal space.

Each en-suite bedroom opens directly onto our beautifully landscaped gardens, giving residents the freedom to spend as much time outdoors as they wish.

Residents can enjoy Greenlane House's garden or spend time in one of our many lounge's or dining room. This home places a focus on resident wellbeing and offers indoor activities, outings and a hair salon. There is a lift, ground floor rooms and wheelchair access in addition to Wi-Fi throughout the home.

The original building at Greenlane House offers some en-suite rooms and residents can feel even more at home here if they want to use their own furniture.

The home has a caring team of dedicated and enthusiastic employees led by the experienced Registered Manager and ably assisted by the Deputy Manager and care team who always provide a high standard of professional care. This enables us to provide a friendly and caring atmosphere for everyone who lives at Greenlane House Care Home.

We are fully equipped and trained to cater for residents over the age of 65 who may be physically frail or have dementia and EMI needs.

Greenlane House has nearby key medical facilities including a hospital, a GP and a Pharmacy. It has good travel links with a bus station and a train station close to the home. A supermarket and pub can also be found in the area.

As stated above, we provide care to residents who are over the age of 65, however, in certain circumstances we may be willing to accept residents below this age who are in need of care and support.
