Overview
At Weaver House in Bulkington, Warwickshire, we provide long-term residential support for young adults with autism and learning disabilities, helping them develop independence as they transition into adulthood. Our aim is to assist individuals in enhancing their independent living skills and encourage their participation in activities they enjoy.
We are located near various amenities, including a local college offering further education and voluntary employment opportunities. We support individuals in accessing local day centres and events, providing plenty of opportunities for socialising and making new friends.
Our approach is centred on helping individuals pursue activities that inspire and fulfil them, whether through education, work, or volunteering. Our team offers full support to help residents achieve their personal goals.
The home is spacious, with four double bedrooms on the second floor, two of which have en-suite facilities. A communal bathroom is also located on this floor. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with access to a separate bathroom. At the rear of the property, there is a self-contained flat that can be accessed from both the main house and the outside, offering a private space for those seeking to further their independence. The flat includes a kitchen, lounge, dining area, and a bedroom with en-suite facilities.
Our staff receive expert training tailored to the needs of those we support, with regular opportunities to provide feedback on training and request additional learning.
