Overview
Riverside is located two miles north-east of Barnsley town in the village of Monk Bretton with local shops and amenities, with good transport links into the surrounding towns.
Riverside specialises in residential care for elderly residents with a wide range of needs, including dementia support and short term respite care.
The home has been designed with personalised care in mind and is therefore divided into two houses, one providing the highest level of residential care and one which specialises in dementia care and has been designed with this in mind.
With tastefully decorated bedrooms. We encourage residents to personalise their rooms with pictures, trinkets and ornaments.
Residents at Riverside can relax and socialise in the lounges provided. Delicious meals are served with daily menu choices available. Special diets can be catered for.
Activities play a vital part in the day to day running of the home, and in addition to singers and entertainers being provided, the home also has various day to day activities provided by our own in-house activity coordinator.
